What to do if you become ill, injured or need general health advice

It is sometimes difficult to know what to do when you are taken ill. The following information tells you what to do and where you can turn for help.

Health Care Centres – your first port of call

Contact your local Health Care Centre for any symptoms or problems that do not require immediate hospital care. If necessary, you will then be referred to a medical specialist. Your local Health Care Centre can also provide healthcare advice over the telephone and arrange for a home visit.
